The Eye Exam:
Eye exams are offered for children and adults. I see patients of all ages.
My philosophy of eyecare :
In order to serve you best, it is important for me to get to know you. Your health, hobbies, and work all can have an effect on your vision. In fact, not all vision problems come from the eyes. You may come to me with a headache and find that sinus or neck problems are the cause. Seeing the whole picture helps me find the real reason for your concerns.
Over the many years I have been in practice, I have received many testimonials. I will share some of them on this page:
This one comes from a dear friend named Doug Comin:
"Dr. Arnold and Ruth Papernick are truly unique in this age of impersonal, cookie-cutter approaches to everything, including health services. As an optometrist, Dr. Arnold Papernick is thorough, knowledgeable, and personable. His genuine care and concern for his patients is evident immediately and he takes the time to explain procedures and answer questions. Though his patient interaction might be considered "old fashioned" (in the best sense), Dr. Papernick is committed to keeping up with the latest developments in eye care and utilizes state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment equipment. As office manager, Ruth demonstrates the same warmth and genuine care for her clients that makes a visit to Dr. Papernick's office a truly pleasant and memorable experience. I highly recommend Dr. Arnold and Ruth Papernick."
Dr Papernick and Staff:
Thank you very much for all your time and patience the last few years. It means a lot to have such a caring doctor and wonderful staff!
Thanks a million,
Eyeglass lenses are made of different materials:
You may choose plastic, polycarbonate or glass lenses. For safety reasons, I strongly recommend that children have polycarbonate lenses.
Your prescription may also determine which lens material would be better for you.
Depending on your prescription you will be given information about different styles of lenses that would best suit your prescription.
You may need just single vision lenses for distance or reading. Should you need a correction for both distance and near, there are many possibilities that will be explained to you.
As far as the frames are concerned, there are many different styles and prices in the Dispensary.
